WCB Occupational First Aid Course Descriptions
Intermediate First Aid
Two-day course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Successful students will be issued an Intermediate First Aid certificate. This will qualify the student to work as a First Aid Attendant on job locations where WCB regulations requires Intermediate first Aid on a work site.
Prerequisites for Intermediate First Aid
- Able to produce appropriate identification
- No previous first aid training is required
Class Times: 8:00am - 4:30pm (unless otherwise specified)
