WCB Occupational First Aid Course Descriptions

Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 2 

The OFA Level 2 program is a 36 hour comprehensive first aid course covering the aspects of industrial and occupational first aid including Choking, CPR, AED (automatic external defibrillator), bleeding, medical emergencies and upper limb management. 
This course will prepare the student to become a first aid attendant in
an urban setting with 
less than 20 minutes transportation time to a hospital. 
Upon successful completion of the WCB written and practical exam the student will be certified as an Occupational
First Aid (OFA) Level 2 attendant.

Prerequisites for OFA Level 2

- 
Student must be at least 16 yars of age
-  Able to produce appropiate indentification
-  Successfully complete a WCB 'Statement of Fitness'

-  No previous first aid training is required

Class Times:   8:00am - 4:30pm (unless otherwise specified)
