WCB OCCUPATIONAL FIRST AID COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
Transportation Endorsement
7 hour course in Advanced first aid procedures including
transportation of people with spinal injuries. The course includes breathing
interventions, oxygen therapy, airway management, and the application of hard collars, spine boards, straps, and basket stretchers.
Successful students will be issued a WCB Transportation Endorsement certificate to accompany a current Basic & Intermediate First Aid certificate.
Prerequisite:
All students taking this course must hold a valid Basic or Intermediate First Aid certificate.
